Monarch Butterfly...soon

We have two plants with lovely caterpillars on them that we are watching at the moment. There is a "dadderpillar" and two others a little smaller who will eat and eat and become beautiful Monarch butterflies. Neve thinks these are very cool and will hapily pick them up and move them around so that each caterpillar is on the best leaf to get nice and fat...

Easter

We went to some friends house - who also have a 3yo - for an easter egg hunt on sunday morning. They were not very good at finding any eggs... but had lots of fun.

And this last pic is N having chocolate for breakfast! The "easter person" as N called it left a bunny for Mum, Dad + Neve. Neve got to choose which one she wanted and gave Glenn the biggest rabbit, Me the next size down and N the smallest. Can you tell she has had lots of activities around "Goldilocks" lately?! Glenn was unfamiliar with such acts of kindness as he remembers the fierce competition for the last bit of chocolate when he was growing up...

blueberry picking

Spent several hours picking and eating blueberries on saturday with some friends. Had a great time and nice for N to know that it everything doesnt come the supermarket.

Womad and other bits..

Spent last weekend in New Plymouth at WOMAD, listening to music, catching up with friends and eating lots of good food. Neve thought it was great fun. Dancing, face painting, jumping castles and staying up late!

Fairies

These were new today - apparently shes not a fairy, but a fairy godmother...

Surfing

Mum went surfing at Lyall Bay yesterday - Chutney, Dad and I got to play on the beach for a really long time! Here I am in my wetsuit that I got for xmas. I have my own surfboard too - a kickboard - which was fun for splashing about in the waves.

Beach house

We had a lovely 4 days playing, eating, swimming, boating, reading books and water skiing. Glenn spent several hours rowing Neve and Estelle around the bay.

Chutney

We picked Chutney up yesterday. He is 10 weeks old and pretty easy going so far. Slept all night without a wimper - which is better than the 3 year old...

A quiet one here for us - poor N has had a high fever since 24 Dec. She slept in until 930 am which was very weird, opened her santa sack a few pressies then vomited on xmas tree and headed back to bed...
