Neve had her friend Estelle over to 'play' last week. Neither of them really took much notice of the other baby and as long as there was enough toys to play with both babies were happy!

latest stats

Neve had her 5 month check up last week and is doing well - she is now 64cm long and weighs 5.5kg. She has grown just over 10 cm since she was born and is almost ready for a 'big' girl car seat. We bought her a jolly jumper a few weeks ago. On her first attempt in it she just looked at her feet a lot, but she is starting to get the hang of it and enjoying the bouncing!

being nude!

Neve loves being nude! She will stop screaming instantly if you take all of her clothes off. Whilst it is great that it makes her stop crying - we hope that she grows out of this by about the age of 5! This has also meant that without a nappy on to restrict her she has figured out how to roll from over from her back. And she looks so proud of herself after she has rolled over.

recent purchase

We bought a baby carrier for Neve recently and tested it out last Sunday - a walk along the east coast beaches at low tide. There was a bit of scrambling over rocks and very unsuitable for a buggy - so the backpack was perfect. Neve must have enjoyed it as she fell asleep for most of the walk, although we did wake her halfway along to show her the views!!
