nature vs nuture?

Neve thinks its great fun to help with the dishes! I am hoping that this is just because it is a new thing to learn and what adults do is way more interesting than any toy (?!), but not becuase she is a girl! At least she is learning domestic chores from her dad-dad...

And these were taken last week - tackling the stairs one last time before bed.

More pics

Here are some more pics of Neve from the past few weeks. This is her sitting on the beach at Punga Rd, New Plymouth. Glenn was windsurfing here while Neve and I explored the gravel beach!

Climbing a Pohutakawa tree with G!

And another from Christmas Day with bad (but quite cute) hat hair!!

New Plymouth

It has been almost two months since I have blogged - wow time sure does fly. We have seen lots of people in that time with our visit to Adelaide and Sydney and even managed a relaxing holiday in Taranaki for xmas. Here are some pics from our trip. The first one is a pic of the mountain (Mt. Taranaki) and one of the reasons why we love spending time down there (its about 5hours south-west of Auckland).

Neve testing out Glenn's windsurf board...I think he is trying to get her windsurfing asap in the hope that she makes money as a pro-windsurfer?? (look at the mountain in the background!!)

Wearing a silly hat on Christmas day is not a bad tradition to continue - here is Neve with her reindeer hat on! Pity they dont come in an adult size.

The place we were staying had a very friendly labrador that Neve loved! She would squeal with delight any time the dog came by and would happily crawl over the bitumen (barefoot of course!) just to give the dog a bit of leftover rusk. Poor Penfold has suffered ever since we arrived home and she chases him round and round the coffee table accompanied by a very high pitched girly scream. More photos to come!
