beautiful places

We spent most of our time on the west coast of the South Island... there are so many beautiful places. the bottom pic is at a place called Punakiki which has blowholes and cool rock formations, the middle pic is looking towards Arthurs Pass and the top pic is at Franz Josef glacier - the day after this one the weather cleared and there was not a cloud in the sky. Amazing!

Squid

After leaving Grandpa & Nanna in christchurch we picked up our campervan called 'squid'. He was very basic but did a great job of keeping us dry, warm and fed. N thought it was great to eat and sleep in 'a van'. We stayed in a few free campsites like this one below where we could make fires and go for walks in the bush. When looking for firewood in the forest Neve would shout from "im lost mum/dad" even though she was less then 20 m from the van and could see squid - a very funny game apparently!

grandpa and nana visited!

Phil and Marlene have just visited us here in Wellington, and we also met up with them in Akaroa, South Island for a great holiday.

Dressing up..

Dress ups have become very popular with Miss N. Here she has a cape and sunhat on (not sure why?!), definitely having fun though!

We were at the beach a few weeks ago when we saw someone going for a dive, since then N has been talking about divers, etc. Here she is dressed up as a diver! The milk bottle on the back is her tank and she is using her 'breather'
